Weekend Reads

Saturday, November 15, 2014

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links, because don't we all love Amazon? If you buy something from them by clicking on the link, I might get, like, 8 cents at no additional cost to you.

The weather here is nasty - cold, rainy, yucky. The skies are grey and I don't know when we will see the sun again, likely not for a while. I just want to spend my weekend curled up under a blanket watching movies and reading books... and maybe drinking some hot chocolate.

I do hope you're having better weather but why not share these delights with you lovely readers? Just in case you find yourself stuck inside, too, wherever you may be.

Side note: I actually really enjoy these weekends. The hubs is at work, the dog is napping. I get to listen to whatever music I like and watch whatever I want on TV. No compromises. The only downside is that I didn't go to the market so all I have to eat is a random can of peaches from who knows how long ago. It's ok, though, I have marshmallows for my hot chocolate so don't worry about me!

Just click on any of the images if you want more information about anything.

To Listen To:

I don't have anything else for you to listen to because I spent a lot of time listening to the radio this weekend. Sometimes I like not knowing what's going to come on next. Also, I don't really buy much music... at least not until something becomes a favorite that I'm always happy to listen to.

And if you are looking for a snuggly blanket to keep you warm (or to give as a gift!), my sister turned me on to this one and I adore it:

It's super soft and the perfect weight - warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It was an instant favorite and it travels with me everywhere.

I hope you've found something here to enjoy or to add to someone special's gift list.
